Richly furnished with dark woods, ornate window treatments, and lots of antiques, the impressive Stock-Yard restaurant has been a Nashville tradition since 1979. This historic building that was once the city's Union Stockyards is now a place where families, couples, and friends gather to celebrate special occasions over dinners that consist of prime rib, porterhouse, and New York strip sirloin--all certified angus beef-- as well as selections from the sea such as stuffed salmon, lobster tails, and jumbo fried shrimp. Head to the restaurant's wine display to see the oldest bottle of wine in the country, a Madeira from the 1700's.
